I’ve been watching Channel 4’s The IT Crowd for a few weeks now, and I still haven’t made my mind up about it. Sometimes it’s funny, othertimes not so. I still watch it so I guess the comedy lobe in my brain feels it has some merit.

However, there’s no doubting that the theme music is rather apt, and rather good, and I instantly fell in love with it (composed by Linehan’s old mateychum Neil Hannon, formerly of The Divine Comedy). Hannon also composed the music for another of Linehan’s shows, the glorious and hysterically funny Father Ted.
