Post pants to Burmese generals - they HATE it : )

Great article in yesterday’s copy of The Independent about a slightly novel way to say down with the system - in this case, the Burma military regime. Post them some knickers - they REALLY won’t like it : )

According to the Lanna Action for Burma group - based in Chiang Mai, in northern Thailand - the generals believe that contact with a woman’s panties or sarong can rob them of their power. By getting supporters to post the pants, the activists want to raise awareness and target officials to let them know they are against their abuse of power.

Burmese embassies have already received underwear from people in Thailand, Australia, Singapore and the UK.
