You can find more goofs like this in the excellent book, Lost In Translation, which lists various linguistic faux-pas and what can only be called mess-ups and hodge-podges of the English language by non-native speakers. Not that I’m saying I’m any good at translation myself…A Level German was almost a decade ago…
