From the BBC’s coverage of the 2008 Olympics:

This morning at about 7.55am, BBC One showed an interview with the Irish and British boxing teams and their trainers at the venue for the Olympic boxing.

It then cut back to the studio and Chilesy came out with this gem which made me giggle all over my peppermint tea, toasted muffin, and make-up:

Adrian Chiles (to co-presenter Hazel Irving): “I went to a restaurant round the corner from there the other day and had some spicy pigs ears…”
Hazel Irving: “Lovely!”
Adrian Chiles: “I warmly recommend you DON’T have them, I’ve been very ill ever since.”
