That’s a song lyric quote….that NONE of you will know, so I shall tell you who it’s by - it’s from a song called ‘Beauty Fiend’ by a California based metal band called My Ruin. It refers to the current state of my left leg:

Yeah, pretty colourful, huh? This is from Tae Kwon Do last week. This is what you get when you spar with your instructor’s girlfriend, and her knee (which I swear is made of STEEL) connects with the side of your shin bone, just neatly missing the foam shin guard you’re wearing to protect yourself from getting these kind of injuries.
