Brilliant parody, hint it

If you have ever lived in East Anglia for any length of time, then you should find this video I’m about to show you will make you curl up screaming with laughter.

I was ‘fortunate’ enough to study in Colchester for three years, then worked in Norwich for a year. The latter part of that year working in that foine cit’ee was spent doing a 140-mile commute from Colchester to Norwich for work when work was looking dodgy and I didn’t want to enter into a 6-month contract for another flat in Norwich so I crashed at a mate’s house…didn’t want to finish paying for the tenancy by working @ Norwich Union, eh?

That killer commute that I did for 2 months meant I roamed through the three main counties of the region (Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex) every day…OHMYGOD why did no-one ever build any MOTORWAYS in this god-forsaken part of England?

Anyway. That’s in the past. Moving on…so yes, this made me laugh a lot because I know East Anglia rather well, and love the Norfolk accent, which is pure comedy and is used in this video a lot. Almost makes me miss the place. A visit might be on the cards this year, I feel.

The vid is a parody of Estelle and Kanye West’s chart hit, ‘American Boy’ - some genius has re-written the words and waxed lyrical about the joys of the region, and renamed it ‘East Anglian Boy’. Enjoy the video, post your thoughts and let me know if you enjoyed it too.
