About me

LAST UPDATE: February 2010

I live and work in London, and have done for the past (almost) three years. I work as a Scripter on the Audio Description team @ Red Bee Media, which is a company based with the BBC at their Media Village offices in White City, west London.

As a Scripter, I write AD scripts for a variety of TV programmes for the BBC, UKTV, C4, and Five. AD is a service for the blind and visually impaired that provides an additional audio narrative track in-between dialogue to describe the on-screen action for AD users.

In my spare time, I play the full-contact, extreme skating sport of roller derby. Trackside, I roll under the name of ‘Red Arrow’ with The Royal Windsor Rollergirls. Check us out at our online home at www.windsorrollergirls.com, or join us on Facebook.

I used to train in the Korean martial art of Tae Kwon Do - I’m currently taking a break from the art, but still retain a keen interest in martial arts and links to the Tae Kwon Do community. I gained my 1st Degree black belt in April 2008 while training with Northolt TAGB Tae Kwon Do School.

When I’m not collecting bruises and scar tissue for my shins : ) - I also like to chill out with a nice cup of herbal tea and a vegan muffin or two - I’m mostly vegan and have been since mid-2005.

I like to check out new vegan cafes & restaurants in London (or anywhere, really) so if you think there’s somewhere I’d love for fabulous vegan vittels, then email me.

I also love to go to gigs, read (when I get the time!), play squash, meet with friends and catch up with family. Y’know, the usual : )
